RANCH N KENNELS

A little note from Lacey:

I will never forget the day I got my first Corgi, Little Man Tate, I saw this little ball of fluff in a kennel filled with blue heeler pups at a horse sale in Aplington, IA. Being a broke High School student, I didn't have the $150 the owner was wanting for him, so I talked the gentleman into flipping a quarter - I win, I get the puppy for $100, I lose, I pay the full $150, well, as fate had it, I WON the flip and Little Man and I went home! He and I shared the BEST 12 years ever! We camped, rodeoed, moved to 4 different states, and I even got married and had a baby, Ali, while he was with me! He was such a loyal, smart, and intuitive dog! It was like he knew what I was thinking. My mom used to tell me when I was at school he would lay by the front door all day, about 10 minutes before I was to arrive home, he would stand up, stretch his legs, and ask to go potty. Then, he would meet me in the yard, little stumpy tail and Corgi butt just a wiggling!
Little Man truly made me a Corgi lover for LIFE!

As I've grown older, my love for Corgis has not dwindled! Ali and I enjoy them on a daily basis! I have, though, become quite partial to the little "foo-foo" dogs, which, I never thought would happen!  I have found their big dog attitude in a little body has grown on me! I enjoy the little dogs for different reasons than my Corgis. My little dogs enjoy all the same things as my Corgis, camping, car rides, and going for walks - they also get to enjoy some things the Corgis don't get to. My favorite is sitting at the island, watching TV. They'll sit on my lap, front paws on the counter, enjoying my shows! And best of ALL, THEY DON'T SHED, unlike their counterpart, Corgi.

So, wheter you're looking for a Corgi, a Corgi Cross or a small "lap dog" companion, I hope I'm able to bring your next furever pet to your home!
